Paddle Pop Shots

So my best girlfriends came back from Vietnam and Australia to throw a separate party for me! It was lovely to see them after a whole month. This party was slightly wilder than the clean-cut lunch at Shangri la, and I learnt that there's nothing like your best pals to force you to do things you spent your whole life trying to avoid.

The evening at Antoinette was posh and simple enough, our usual trio enjoying atmosphere and silly banter. My goodness how much we've grown, and my goodness how much we're still so very much the same. "plus ça changeplus c'est la même chose": The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same!

My besties and I are big fans of communal eating, meaning, ordering many many many plates and sharing them. It's a strategic kind of gluttony, and we adore it. The food was glorious. The higher the calorie, the more glorious.

Salted Caramel ice cream with caramel chocolate crepe... No.1!

That bowl I'm holding contains rose lavender ice cream! and some meringue sticks. Sweet!

Exchange of Christmas gifts! I'm leaving for NYC soon and will miss the holiday here! ):

We headed to Clarke Quay to get some interesting drinks! We headed to a great bar to have, inter alia,

1. Milo shots
2. Pandan shots
3. Bubble Tea shots
4. Green Tea shots
5. Appletinis
6. Werther's Original shots (The butterscotch candy!)
7. and almost 2 dozen PADDLE POP SHOTS!

The paddle pop shots were Super Shiok! AHHHHHHHHH
I think I had 5 shots altogether, and 3 were paddle pop ones. =D I have never had a tastier alcohol experience. Who knew that shots could be so yummy!?

The music was great, and there was no one around! so we all started dancing and teaching each other the move we learnt from dance class or youtube. It was like our own mini club! The photographs of us dancing are both UNglamorous and a little incriminating, so it will forever remain hidden.

Despite the fact that I had a whopping 5 shots, I experienced not the slightest increase in mood. guess I was already maxed-out thrilled to be with my best friends in the whole world.

TEEHEE!!! <3
